Created in 2017, Benshi has surrounded itself with a lovely band of enthusiasts, specialized in Art et Essai cinema for young audiences and united around a common desire: to share their love of cinema with you and give children the desire to see beautiful films.
The films offered on Benshi are carefully selected by a committee of professionals in the field of young audience cinema. The platform differentiates itself from other players by offering highly editorialized content, with for each film: a precise and well-founded age recommendation, a detailed opinion on the film, and good reasons to see the film. This unique support is the strength of the project.
Very quickly, Benshi wanted to be widely accessible in order to adapt to the viewing habits of families with children. Having an iOS and Android app with the ability to download movies for offline viewing was therefore a prerequisite. Otto has enabled us to expand our community through the creation of a fast and efficient interface for watching movies as a family.
