Série Series, the “European TV Series Summit,” has brought together 700 professionals from the European TV series industry every year since 2012 in Fontainebleau. In 2020, due to the health crisis, the organizers decided to hold a digital event combining social media and a dedicated B2B platform developed using Otto by VOD Factory.

An SVOD platform for professionals
Série Series Every year, it brings together both the general public—fans of TV series—and professionals who come to attend conferences, master classes, and panel discussions about the world of TV series. It is this second B2B component that was spearheaded by Otto, giving all Festival attendees with press passes unlimited access to this professional content, which was fully recorded and digitized for the occasion. While the Festival lasts only three days, the VOD platform remains online for two months, allowing attendees with press passes to take their time exploring the full range of the program.
A 360° experience for users
The Festival organization skillfully handled the various digital tools, making a combined use of social networks, the dedicated SVOD platform and even a physical closing event! The three days of the Festival ended with a screening of the first episode of the series Les Revenants, in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest at nightfall.
Optimizing Templates Otto
The Série Series platform made the most of the templates provided by the tool Otto : by skillfully utilizing banner formats, thumbnails, carousels, and more, they were able to recreate the festival’s unique atmosphere and offer a website that stands out from what users are used to seeing.
